2. Remove the rust:

If the rust runs to deep, you can use rough sandpaper to sand as much of it as you can, then you will need steel wool, paraffin, gloves and a damp cloth. Make sure that you wear your gloves as the paraffin can damage the skin on your hands. Apply a drop of paraffin onto the steel wool and sand down your fence with the steel wool. Once you have sanded down your fence with the steel wool and paraffin, wipe it down with the damp cloth.

3. Coat your fence:

If you want your fence to always look brand new and shiny, coat it. You can use liquid car wash to coat your fence. Apply a little bit of the liquid car-wash on to a non-abrasive cloth and coat your fence, leave it overnight. Use a clean cloth to buff your fence in a circular motion.
